2017 Hyundai Elantra and Santa Fe Earn High IIHS Scores

If a new Hyundai model is on your radar, you probably have a few boxes you want to check before you decide on one. If one of those boxes involves high safety ratings, we have some news for you:

When equipped with optional Automatic Emergency Braking and proper headlights, both the 2017 Hyundai Elantra and 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe earned a TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating from the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety.

What does that mean for you? It means that these particular vehicles passed the IIHS's brutal safety tests with flying colors.

Vehicles do not earn TOP SAFETY PICK+ distinction without first earning high marks in five different safety tests to assess how well they protect passengers in a collision. They must also score well in front crash prevention and headlight illumination. We're happy to say the 2017 Elantra and Santa Fe earned high scores, indeed.

We'd be glad to give you the rundown on either (or both) of these stellar new Hyundai models as well as anything else in our Hyundai lineup. Simply pay us a visit at our showroom in Lithia Springs, GA to get started on a test drive today!
